The team of @dailyaleclightwood​​ decided to do several appreciation weeks in honour of our favorite shadowhunter Alec Lightwood. With the show still being on hiatus until next year, this will hopefully motivate everyone to create new content during this time.

The difference between a normal appreciation week and our appreciation weeks is that instead of one theme for one day, we have one theme for a whole week. This way the appreciation for Alec is not over after one week already but goes on for several weeks during this hiatus. It’s also less stressful for those who participate because you basically have one week to post your stuff for that theme instead of a day.

The appreciation weeks will start on September 11th and end on December 24th.

Everybody who creates original content (gifs, edits or fanart) is invited to participate along with us. Of course you don’t have to post for every single week. Don’t stress yourself. This is supposed to be fun.
